Bryant Wrongful Death Lawsuit
June 8, 2020 – Kobe Bryant’s widow to file wrongful death lawsuit.
Former basketball star Kobe Bryant tragically passed away earlier this year, along with his young daughter. The two were involved in a helicopter crash operated by Island Express Helicopters Inc.
Recently, Bryant’s widow filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company, as well as against the estate of Ara Zobayan, the pilot of the helicopter involved in the accident.
Mrs. Bryant is suing on the grounds of negligence and flying in poor weather even without the pilot being cleared to operate the copter in such conditions. The shocking accident, which resulted in the death of seven other people caused a ripple effect of grieving throughout the world, as Bryant was one of the most beloved athletes out there.
Mrs. Bryant claims that her husband and daughter’s deaths cost her millions of dollars in future lost earnings, and is looking to recover damages in the suit. Like many other Americans, she will undoubtedly be faced with a difficult and stressful time during the suit.
