Truck Driver Charged in Fatal Crash on Interstate 77
The name of the truck driver who caused a fatal wreck on Interstate 77 has been released. A 61-year-old Ukraine native named Sergiy Grebinnyk is being charged with causing and fleeing the scene of a wreck that claimed the life of 33-year-old Bradlee Haynes. State police officers say that Haynes got lodged underneath the semi driven by Grebinnyk and was drug for over a half a mile before his vehicle was shaken loose. The State Police also report that Grebinnyk drove for an additional two miles before stopping.
It was later surmised that Grebinnyk was trying to get rid of evidence that would show Haynes had been stuck under his semi. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that Grebinnyk had falsified his service records. This accident is under further investigation, which means the truck driver in question could face additional charges.
Truck Accident Fatalities are Quite Common

Getting back on track following this type of accident can be difficult without the help of a lawyer. When working with a lawyer who is familiar with these types of accidents, you can figure out what type of compensation you may be entitled to.
What Generally Causes These Types of Accidents?
One of the main things most people want to know about trucking accidents is how they happen. There are a variety of situations that can cause these types of accidents. Distracted driving is among the most common causes of trucking accidents. If a truck driver is not paying attention to the road, it is easy for them to lose control and plow into another motorist.
